Join India’s Menstrual Health Campaign: Pledge Your Support to #StopThePeriodPain
The #StopThePeriodPain initiative is a nationwide menstrual health campaign specifically designed to bridge the gap between silent suffering of period pain and its clinical diagnosis.
Historically in India, severe period pain has been dismissed as a normal life experience. However, the data tells a different story: 80% of Indian girls suffer from severe period pain (dysmenorrhea). We are reaching out to empower these girls with a clear, life-changing message: Period pain is a real medical issue. Do not take it lightly. Visit a gynaecologist, and #StopThePeriodPain.
The critical role of our partners in our menstrual health campaign
To turn this message into action, the medical community must provide a strong counter-response. This is where you—our Doctors and Healthcare Partners—play a critical role in the success of this menstrual health campaign.
- For Doctors: You are the diagnostic experts. When a girl breaks her silence, your role is to provide the clinical validation she needs. By investigating whether her pain is a chemical spike or a structural signal of conditions like Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, Uterine Fibroids or PCOS, you change her life trajectory.
- For Healthcare Partners: You are the professional frontline. By accurately fulfilling prescriptions and recognizing period pain as a real medical issue, you reinforce the doctor’s treatment plan and ensure the patient feels supported.
Why This Menstrual Health Campaign Matters
1. Challenging the "80% Reality"
2. Accelerating the Path to Diagnosis
3. A Unified Healthcare Ecosystem
From the pharmacy counter to the gynaecology clinic, we are building a unified front. This menstrual health campaign ensures that from the clinic to the pharmacy counter, the message is the same: Period pain is a medical issue, and relief starts with a diagnosis.
