Some girls don’t get period cramps because they have a perfect balance of prostaglandins (the villain chemicals that cause the uterus to contract). Additionally, factors like an efficient cervical opening (which allows for easy period flow), a favourable uterus position (which puts less pressure on surrounding nerves), and a naturally lower inflammatory response all contribute to a painless, smooth period cycle.

Balance of Prostaglandins

In girls with no period pain, the body produces just the right amount of prostaglandins (the villain pain chemicals) — enough to throw the uterine lining out, but not enough to cause a painful over-squeeze of the uterus. Their uterus muscles stay relaxed because there isn’t an over-production of prostaglandins.

Efficient Cervical Opening

The cervix is the door between the vagina and the uterus. In girls who do not experience period cramps, the cervix remains relaxed, acting like an open gate. Because the blood flows out effortlessly, your uterus does not have to work hard or cramp to clear the uterine lining—a struggle it would otherwise be forced to undergo if the cervical opening were narrow.

Favourable Uterus Position

In some girls with no period cramps, the uterus is positioned perfectly straight and doesn’t press against nearby nerves or organs like the back or the bladder. Because the uterus has plenty of space around it the natural contractions happen silently without hitting any sensitive nerves nearby, keeping the periods painless and not causing other symptoms like lower backache.

Lower Inflammatory Response

A period is a process that involves inflammation. Some girls who do not experience period pain have a lower internal inflammatory response due to healthy dietary habits, regular exercise, and stress management. Consequently, their bodies do not become over-inflamed during the period process, which keeps their periods painless.

A text-based informational graphic titled “Why Do Some Girls Don’t Get Period Cramps?” explaining that some girls experience painless periods due to factors like balanced prostaglandin levels (period cramps causes, menstrual pain reasons), an efficient cervical opening that allows smooth menstrual flow (healthy menstrual cycle, smooth period flow), a uterine position that reduces pressure on nearby nerves, and a naturally lower inflammatory response (low inflammation body, hormonal balance in periods); it also debunks a common myth in India that no period pain means difficulty having children (fertility myths India, period pain fertility truth), clarifying that painless periods simply indicate an efficient bodily process (normal periods without pain, painless menstruation health) and have no impact on future fertility (can you get pregnant without period pain, fertility and periods facts). The graphic ends with the campaign message "STOP The Period Pain." Which is a knowledge initiative campaign by Blue Cross Laboratories the makers of meftal spas.
